Geat Wall of China Get's Built

     An important event of the Ming Dynasty was that the Great Wall of China was began being built. The Great Wall of China is like a dragon, winding 3,948 miles. The Chinese started building this wall within the Warring States period (476 BC- 221 BC). Although, most of it was bulit within the Ming Dynasty. It extends from ShanHaiGuan, a seaport along the coast of BoHai in the east, to JiaYuGuan Pass in the GangSu Province in the west. It spans 9 provincves. The Great Wall of China was built to keep invaders out. This wall is still around today. People tour it every day. It is so big that telescopes can see it from space!
